  • 1280×768 resolution: 1280/768 = 1.66

Posted September 3rd, 2007.

Microsoft Windows XP comes with the System Configurationtool, Msconfig.exe. This program provides a way to manage the process and applications that start automatically when you boot Windows. To start the program:

1. Click Start, click Run, type Msconfig, and then press Enter.

2. On the Startup tab, you’ll see a list of all the programs and processes that are set to run when Windows XP loads.

3. Speed up your overall start time by clearing the check box next to any item you think you don’t need.

4. Click Apply, and then restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

Google Analytics – Tracking Exact Keywords

Posted August 2nd, 2007.

I attended a great online seminar yesterday about google analytics put on by ROI Revolution. The training was great and at the end they offered a free download for a script that enhances google analytics to track exact keyword matches for your campaigns.

Out of the box, google analytics only tracks the term that you big on that was clicked. For example, if you bid on the term “cars” and people are clicking on the term “honda cars”, your analytics account will report clicks on the term “cars”. This free script they provided changes the report to the specific term that was clicked on.
